Cantor Jeremy Burko is a veteran of the Jewish a Cappella world as singer, recording engineer, composer and arranger. He is an alumnus of New York's Jewish a Cappella group, Pizmon. He was founder and director of the University of Toronto Jewish a Cappella group, Varsity Jews, as well as founder and director of the London Jewish a Cappella group, Tabouli. He has recorded 6 a Cappella albums, and has travelled the world as a guest conductor, and as alecturer about a Cappella arranging theory. Cantor Burko is a graduate of the H. L. Miller Cantorial School at the Jewish Theological Seminary, and currently serves the Beth Radom Congregation in Toronto, Canada, where he continues to promote the a cappella genre in his own synagogue and around the world. All of the members of his synagogue choir are former members of Jewish collegiate a Cappella choirs.
Hazzan Arianne Brown is the Hazzan at the dynamic Adas Israel Congregation, where she has a large musical, educational, and pastoral portfolio. She previously served at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles. A New Jersey native, Arianne graduated from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers with a Bachelor of Voice/Music Education, and the Jewish Theological Seminary with a Master of Sacred Music and Master of Arts in Jewish Education. She performed extensively with the Folksbiene Yiddish Theater. Solo appearances include off-Broadway, Carnegie Hall, Disney Hall, Warsaw’s Ida Kaminska Yiddish Theater, Dodger Stadium, and the Krakow Jewish Music Festival. Arianne sang the national anthems for President Obama’s address to the Jewish community and for Prime Minister Netanyahu, and also officiated at the US Memorial to Prime Minister Shimon Peres. She is featured in the Cantors Assembly’s New Voices of the Cantorate video series and in One Hundred Voices: A Journey Home. Arianne’s recordings include a Yiddish theater album entitled Eternal Flame¸and her trio Ashira’s Suddenly Spirited - available at www.cantorari.com. Arianne is proud of Adas Israel’s Kol HaOlam annual collegiate a cappella competition, where she often serves as judge. She is married to Rabbi Randy Brown and is the loving Ima of three little boys!
Chris Hardin is a composer, orchestrator, musical director, conductor, jazz pianist and vocalist. His film scores include Not Again, Two Paths and On Growing Older for which he won an award for Best Original Score. He has commposed, arranged and orchestrated over 100 symphonic pieces, some of which are being played in different countries throughout the world as well and his vocal arrangements are gaining notoriety at vocal jazz festivals. He currently focuses his time on his position as Music Director at Valley Beth Shalom Synagogue in Encino, writing, arranging and recording for a variety of artists as well as being the Musical Director for Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show that started in Las Vegas in 2009 and is now a traveling company that performs in cities throughout the United States.
Cantor Daniel A. Singer has recently completed the first decade of his tenure at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue in Manhattan. A Wisconsin native, he has served on the Executive Board of the American Conference of Cantors, most recently as Secretary, as well as the ACC Co-Chair for the Joint Commission for Worship Music and Religious Living in collaboration with the CCAR, GTM, URJ, and HUC. He has a BS in Music with a minor in Mass Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, an MM in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan, an MSM and Cantorial Ordination from the HUC-JIR Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music, and an MA in Performing Arts Administration from NYU Steinhardt. An award-winning bass, he is as comfortable singing grand opera as he is singing Broadway, pop, jazz, or folk music. He is an accomplished recording artist, multi-faceted guitarist, pianist and composer of new music both for the synagogue and stage. Most recently, he sang with renown A Cappella group Six13 for President Obama at the White House during Chanukah 2016. He lives in Manhattan with his beautiful wife Lauren and his two adorable little boys, Aiden and Ariel. When he isn’t working, he enjoys reading, travelling, and relaxing with his family.
